Welcome to anyone interested in the GT40 automobile.
This site is proudly brought to you by Richard Woerz GT40 P2197 (Webmaster) and Lynn Miner GT40 P2133 (major content contributor) we hope you enjoy our site.
The purpose of this site is to provide a place for GT40 enthusiast to collaborate on issues concerning the technical aspects of the building, tuning and the enjoyment of all things GT40. It is our hope that the layout of this site will lend itself to large articles such as “how to” or even anyone willing to share their GT40 experiences or the history of these cars, anything relating to the GT40 experience. This site is not designed to replace the really great sites like www.gt40s.com and others as their forum format lend themselves to a more interactive environment.
This site is not a place to flame people for any reason and as such will not be tolerated in any form. We hope that people with GT40 and other related information will contribute to make this site a repository of a broad spectrum of information on these great cars. As this is and always will be a work in progress it will be up to the contributors to help evolve the site. For the time being we will be using a WIKI (like Wikipedia) to house the articles and provide a place for people to comment on them. We would encourage people to contribute anything from comments to whole articles or information on entire builds. Anyone not comfortable or able to post to a WIKI type of environment we will be glad to post the information for you.
We are just starting to bring the site online which requires the uploading of thousands of pictures and the text to go with them. In some cases you may find pages of just photos. Please be patient as we are in the process of adding text and cleaning things up.
